This policy covers switchpointgear.com and the way Switchpoint handles information about the contractors, engineers, owners and partners we work with. It does not contradict the Sprint Mode privacy policy, which covers the platform Switchpoint runs on.
When you use this site or work with us we may collect: your name, company, title, email address and phone number when you submit a form, request a quote, ask for the spec kit, or reply to us; the pages you open on links we send you (each link is unique to its recipient so we know who opened it); technical data such as browser type and approximate location from your connection; the content of emails, texts and calls with us (calls to our numbers may be recorded and transcribed with notice); and business information you share about projects, sites and equipment.
To find people who may want to work with us, we use: business contact data from Apollo (names, titles, companies and work email addresses, with emails checked by ZeroBounce before we send); LinkedIn profiles our team views in their own signed-in sessions, captured with the Dex browser extension (see the Dex extension privacy policy); our team’s own LinkedIn connection lists, used only to find mutual connections for introductions; and public project and permit records. We use this information only to contact you about Switchpoint’s work, and every message gives you a way to stop.
To answer you, quote work, introduce you to our supply partner and engineering contacts, pay referral fees, keep our records of the conversation, improve what we send, and meet our legal obligations. AI tools help us draft messages and sort incoming information; a person reviews what we send.
We share information only with the supply and engineering partners needed to quote or deliver your job, with the providers below that run our systems under contract, and when the law requires:

Emails from us come from addresses on switchpointgear.com or our sending domains; every one carries a way to stop. Text messages: if you check the texting box on our quote form, you agree to receive texts from Switchpoint about your inquiry, quote or order; message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party.
Strictly necessary. Our sign-in pages use session cookies to keep you signed in.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how this site is used. This may include pages visited, session duration and general geographic region. When you arrive from a link with campaign tags or an ad click identifier, we keep those values with any form you submit, so we can tell which campaigns lead to inquiries. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Google signals is off, and this site sends Google no names or email addresses.
Advertising to past visitors. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to show our ads on other sites and on YouTube to people who visited our site but did not sign up. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to do this. This is “sharing” under California law. You can opt out at any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser. Opting out does not affect your use of our services.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the service, letting you return to your account, meeting legal obligations and resolving disputes. We may keep de-identified or aggregated data that can’t reasonably be used to identify you.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email privacy@switchpointgear.com or use the request form on this site. We respond to verified requests within thirty (30) days. California residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page.
Information is stored with our providers in the United States, with access limited to the people who need it. This site and our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18.
